Director’s Notes – May 2010

I can’t believe the school year is almost over. Thank you for sharing your children with us. We look forward to the next few weeks as we prepare for our “Moving Up Ceremonies”. Thank you for all your support during the year. You continue to make WLC the successful program that it is. I look forward to all the exciting things that are planned for the month of May – as well as all our ceremonies and the Family Picnic for three year olds. Invitations will be going out this month with all the specifics.

Watch your cubbies !!!

My Heartfelt Thanks….

Many, many thanks to all of my angels who have been so helpful to me and the school during the year. I couldn’t have made it through without you. A Special Thanks to The Goldsmith’s, The Formato’s, The Beylouni’s, Mr. Diaz, and Steve Powers for being there when needed.

SUMMER CAMP

If you haven’t already signed up for Summer Camp, there is still room for your child in Wesley’s Summer Program. Lot’s of summer fun for the children. A reminder to those who have already signed up – your final payment is due June 1st.

Spring Safety Reminders:

Please make sure that you have your child’s hand when entering and leaving the building.

NO Running on the Handicap Ramp.

NO playing in the Parking Lot.

If you would like to use the playground area, please ask at the office. If a Wesley class is using the playground, you may not use it.

TONS OF FUN DATE IS

TUESDAY, JUNE 8, 2010

SPRING / SUMMER CLOTHING:

*Children may not wear sandals, jelly-shoes, crocs, or open back shoes on our playground and will not be permitted outside with them. For safety purposes, sneakers must be worn on the playground.

Jackets with strings should not be worn to school. There is a chance that the string could get caught on the slides and cause fatal harm to your child.

Please make sure your child has a cold pack in his/her lunch box.

Sunscreen should be applied in the morning prior to bringing your child to school.

Please call if you have any questions. My hours are Monday – Friday 8:00 – 1:30 PM.
